Jonathan Clancy, musician with His Clancyness, A Classic Education, Settlefish and Brutal Birthday, founded Maple Death Records in 2015, a label that stands at the crossroads between noise, punk, psych, industrial, ambient, rock’n’roll and experimentation.

Cindy Lee, Holiday Inn, Blak Saagan, Mai Mai Mai, WOW, Whitney K are just some of the artists who have released records for Maple Death attracting the attention of mainly foreign magazines and sites such as Gorilla Vs Bear, NPR, Inverted Audio, The Quietus, Aquarium Drunkard, Stereogum, Pitchfork.

Since 2017 he has been working between London and Bologna for the English label Fire Records/Earth Recordings.

Jonathan has active radio programs for Radio Raheem (Milan) for NTS (UK), Kiosk Radio (BE), and Soho Radio (UK) and has been artistic director of Radio Citta’ Del Capo (Bologna).
